Hello! My name is Lea Ries and this is my second year teaching at Iowa Valley! I’m originally from Hopkinton, IA but I currently live in Tiffin. I graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2021 with my BA in Elementary Education and a reading endorsement.  I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, watching my favorite movies and tv shows, and eating ice cream! I’m so excited to meet and get to know my students, as well as work alongside the faculty and staff in the school district.
